The Hike: This extremely short trail brings hikers along the North Boulder Creek, and to the base of the roaring Boulder Falls. Although short and easy, the drive up to this hike is equally scenic as the road twists and turns through the gorgeous Boulder Canyon. Hikers can splash around in the creek, or spend the afternoon enjoying the canyon before or after this hike.

 

The Details: Park in the Boulder Falls parking area along Route 119. The trailhead will be on the other side of the road. After walking for a short .15 miles, you will be brought to the base of the falls. After enjoying the view, backtrack to your car.

Gear: For this hike, we recommend bringing along either the Winter or Summer Day Hike Essentials, depending on the season. Micro-spikes are strongly advised in the winter.
